About Safafish

Cloud & Backend Engineer who ships full products

Safafish is an independent software studio focused on practical, carefully built apps across cloud services and native Apple platforms.

Recent work spans a keep-alive SSH terminal with full Mac remote desktop (SharkTTY), AI creative and learning apps (Kaka Camera, AiWords, AlterEcho), and the relay and gateway services that power them.

Own it end to end

From infrastructure to interface, I take features all the way to production — and stay responsible for them in the wild.

Infrastructure I actually run

Not just code: I deploy, monitor, and operate the services, so I design for real networks, real cost, and real failure.

Native craft, systems depth

Pixel-level Swift interfaces on top of hand-tuned Rust systems and encryption — at home across the entire stack.

Cloud & Infrastructure

Design and operate the servers behind every app — Docker & Podman with Traefik on Oracle Cloud, automatic Let's Encrypt TLS, and self-hosted relay & gateway nodes across regions.

Backend Engineering

Production services in Go and Rust: REST APIs, account & token auth (JWT and HMAC), usage metering and quotas, SQL schema and migrations, and clean control-plane / data-plane splits.

iOS & macOS

Native Swift & SwiftUI across iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Vision Pro, plus macOS menu-bar apps — StoreKit, Keychain, ScreenCaptureKit, VideoToolbox and Metal.

Real-time & Systems

Low-latency streaming and transport — QUIC and WebSocket signaling, end-to-end encryption, and Rust↔Swift FFI shipped as prebuilt xcframeworks.
