Easy Eyes — Rest & Eye Exercises
1. Introduction
Easy Eyes ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. Easy Eyes is an eye-relaxation and eye-exercise app. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how it is protected. We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or use third-party tracking SDKs.
2. Using Easy Eyes as a Guest
You can use Easy Eyes without creating an account. In guest mode the app uses a randomly generated device identifier to keep your practice history and streaks on our server. No name, email, or contact information is required.
3. Optional Account
You may create an optional account so your progress follows you across devices. An account stores a username, a display name, and a securely hashed password on our server. We do not require your email address. You can convert a guest into an account at any time, and your existing progress is kept.
4. Practice & Progress Data
To power streaks, daily goals, points, and badges, we store records of the practices you complete: which exercise, its duration, the time of completion, and your device platform (e.g. iPhone, iPad). This data is tied to your guest or account identifier and is not shared with third parties.
5. Friends & Leaderboards
If you add friends with a friend code, your display name, avatar, points, and streak are visible to those friends and on leaderboards. The global leaderboard shows display names, avatars, and points to other players ranked near you. You can remove friends at any time. Do not use a display name you wish to keep private.
6. Reminders
If you enable rest reminders, your chosen times, schedule, and time zone are saved so they sync across your devices. The reminders themselves are delivered as local notifications scheduled on your device.
7. Purchases
Optional tips and tip subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
8. Analytics & Advertising
The Easy Eyes app contains no third-party analytics SDKs and no advertising. We do not build advertising profiles of you or track you across other apps and websites.
9. Data Retention & Your Rights
You can:
- Delete your account and all associated data from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete account)
- Turn reminders off at any time
- Remove friends at any time
- Contact us to request access to or deletion of your data
Deleting your account permanently erases your profile, practice history, streaks, points, badges, and friends from our server.
10. Children's Privacy
Easy Eyes is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Medical Disclaimer
Easy Eyes supports eye comfort, relaxation, and strain relief. It does not diagnose, treat, or correct vision. If you have eye pain, sudden vision changes, flashes, or floaters, consult an eye-care professional.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date.
